Organic cotton is considered to be a more sustainable version of cotton. It is grown without synthetic pesticides or harmful chemicals, reducing environmental impact and supporting healthier soil systems. This more responsible growing process uses less energy and encourages biodiversity, resulting in a softer, breathable fibre that remains durable and long-lasting. With mindful care, organic cotton garments maintain their quality for years to come.
Wash
Be sure to turn clothing inside out before washing. It is best to hand or machine machine wash at 30°C or colder on a delicate wash with an eco-friendly detergent. Once washed, remove clothing from the washing machine as soon as possible to reduce any further wrinkling.
Dry
We advise not to tumble dry and instead lay flat out to air dry, on a line or to hang. This both protects the natural fibres and reduces energy use.
Heat
Iron on a medium setting while slightly damp. Steam can be used to refresh the fabric and maintain its finish.
Take Note
Organic cotton may soften further over time with wear and washing. To preserve fibre quality, avoid excessive heat and over-washing.
Please expect a small amount of shrinkage on the first few washes.
