SHIPPING

All orders are shipped from the UK using Royal Mail Tracked services. Once your order has been posted, you will be sent a shipping confirmation email including a tracking link. You will be able to track the status of your order door-to-door via the Royal Mail website.

Duties and Taxes

Due to the variability of taxes and duties outside of the UK, we are unable to include these into our prices or provide an amount of these costs. The customer is responsible for any import taxes and duties incurred before or on arrival of delivery, in the destination country. RILEY & MONICA is not responsible for any fees charged by customs and is not responsible for loss or damage of an item(s) sent internationally.

International shipping may be prolonged upon arrival due to delays at customs and un-foreseeable circumstances that are beyond our control.

We advise to check with your local customs office for more information prior to placing an order and use all tracking information provided, to keep updated on the status of your order.

Production Time

Standard Orders

All orders are made-to-order specifically for you. The process of making your item(s) only starts from when we receive your order. Please allow for a production time of up-to 3 weeks (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Please note that if you are ordering multiple items, this will have an impact on the lead time for your order but you will be notified via email in regards to this.

Pre-Orders

When you purchase a pre-order item, you are consenting to buying a product not yet in inventory. Production for these orders, begins from when the time-period for pre-orders has closed and not once the order has been placed. Therefore, please allow for a longer lead time of up-to 4 weeks plus shipping time for these.

We would like to thank you for your patience during this time and once your new pieces have been shipped, we will send you an email including tracking, so you are able to follow its journey right to your door

Missed Deliveries

It is the responsibility of the customer to contact their local postal office for any missed delivery of items. You will need to make arrangements to either collect the item(s) or have it redelivered. 

Any orders sent by us, will not be refundable on the basis of it not being delivered to the provided address. In the event that a parcel is returned to us, we will attempt to send the parcel for a second time of which the customer will need to pay for. 

UK

Royal Mail Tracked 24/48 service is used to deliver UK orders. Royal Mail classify these parcels lost or delayed after 7 days of its due date and we will use this as a guideline when looking into missing items.

International

Royal Mail International Tracked service is used for all Europe and Rest of the World orders. Royal Mail deem international parcels delayed or missing 20 working days from the due date for Europe and 25 working days from the due date for the Rest of the World. Please allow for the full number of days for your parcel to be delivered as we will use this as a guideline when dealing with missing items. Please also note in some cases delivery may be delayed due to custom issues and various reasons beyond our control. 

RETURNS

We appreciate in some circumstances that the item just isn’t right for you but we ask to help us reduce our environmental impact by minimising returns. 

Please take a careful look at our main size guide, individual garment measurements and further details provided on each product page to help assist with this. If you are unsure and have any queries, get in touch with us prior to purchasing and we’ll be happy to help in choosing the right size, colour or length for you. 

*Please note, all International orders are considered final sale and regrettably, cannot be returned for a refund or exchange.

How to make a return:

In the case that you do need to return your order or would like to exchange, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Your return should include a copy of your purchase receipt to ensure your return is correctly processed on our end.

  • All items should be returned in re-sellable condition - unworn, unwashed and with tags included. We will be unable to refund or exchange any items that we consider worn or altered.

  • To reduce additional waste, we encourage customers to re-use the original packaging as our degradable postal bags include a second adhesive tape, specifically for returns. 

  • The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping to return your item(s) back to us. All original shipping costs and the cost of returning your items are non-refundable. 

  • We advise customers to return any items back to us via a trackable service or purchase shipping insurance as we don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item(s) and are not liable for loss or damage of an item(s) during or upon its return.

Refunds

Once you have posted your return and we have received it, we will send you an email to notify you.

Refunds will be approved after inspection of the item(s), providing they are in re-sellable condition (unworn, unwashed and with tags attached). If approved, please allow up-to 14 days for us to process your refund and a further 3-5 working days, for the funds to appear on the original payment method, after we process it.

We will also send you another email to confirm when your refund has been processed.

Please note that all shipping costs and the cost of returning your items are non-refundable and will not appear on the total amount refunded.

Pre-Orders

You are eligible to cancel a partially paid pre-order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can’t cancel the order but you can request a full or partial refund.

If you have changed your mind and would no longer wish to proceed with your pre-ordered item(s) and would like a full refund, we kindly ask that you get in contact with us before the pre-order time period has closed or as soon as possible. This helps us to deal with your request accordingly and ensures our production process runs efficiently.

Exchanges

In the case that there is something you wish to change about your item(s) and would prefer to exchange, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We will be unable to accommodate any exchange requests after this time.

Please note all items sent back to us for an exchange must be in a re-sellable condition (unworn, unwashed and with tags attached). We will be unable to exchange any items that we consider worn or altered and will unfortunately have to return the item(s) to the customer.

One exchange applies per order. Any exchanges would be for the same item in a different colour, size, length or a combination of these options. We consider these exchanges to be final sale and therefore cannot be refunded.

A standard production time of up-to 3 weeks (excluding weekends and public holidays) applies to all replacement items. Your order will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48hr service and has a standard delivery time of 3-5 working days.

Sale Items

Products identified as ‘Sale Items’ are non-returnable and therefore, not eligible for a refund. 

International Orders

We make all of our clothing to order so every item is cut and sewn, specifically for you. As a conscious brand we are mindful of the environmental impact of a long-haul return. Due to this, all international orders are considered final sale and regrettably, cannot be returned for an exchange or refund. 

Custom Orders

Whilst we do offer the option of altering our items, due to how our garments are produced this is currently limited and varies for each product. See below for these options. 

Please note, depending on the alteration, additional fees may apply. All custom purchases are deemed as final sale once agreed by the customer and therefore, not eligible for an exchange or refund. This applies to both UK and International orders.
