Established by Lea Carleen, RILEY & MONICA was born out of a desire for comfy, quality essentials that were timeless in design, durable in function and inclusive in size.

It is a non-seasonal, slow, handmade to order brand, consciously designed and produced in London.

The aim is to waive the reoccurrence of how its clothing is produced and focus on curating classic staples that transcend trends and seasons. 

Carefully Curated.

Each piece has been intentionally curated with an everyday wardrobe at the forefront. To minimise the effort in dressing and help others alike, build a capsule of essentials or mix and match to complement existing ones. We believe every wardrobe tells a story and have designed a line of pieces to create your very own

Sustainably Sourced.

At RILEY & MONICA, we have a strong focus on conscious practices from start to finish. We offer a sustainable alternative to fast-fashion using responsibly sourced natural fabrics that derive from low-impact and/or eco friendly crops. This ensures that our clothes are not only doing all the good things like minimising our environmental impact but can also be enjoyed through all seasons, for years to come.

Mindfully Made.

Currently, all of our pieces are designed, cut and sewn by our very own founder Lea Carleen, in her home studio in London. All orders we receive are made to order specifically for each and every customer, ensuring our production is controlled and we are eliminating any unnecessary waste.

From The Founder.

When I had the vision for a brand, I told myself; I don’t want to create another clothing brand that simply adds to the state of today’s fashion industry.

Equally, I wanted to create something that fulfilled both a gap in my wardrobe and the fashion market because when my body changed, I just couldn’t find clothes that I loved enough for this transition. Sometimes it would be something as simple as wishing an item was one or two inches longer.

As women, we appreciate having options but I feel we love the convenience in dressing even more so. With all of those things combined, I thought lets utilise this fashion degree and before I knew it, RILEY & MONICA was a thing.
